Celebrate Women’s History Month with a week of special events, starting Friday, February 27 and continuing through Friday, March 2, 2018 with a final event on March 9, 2018.
UNH Feminist Week is organized in conjunction with the Social Justice Leadership Project of the Women’s Studies Program and in collaboration with multiple on-campus and local partners. The Social Justice Leadership Project affords students the opportunity to focus on the study of feminist leadership while training leaders committed to diversity and social justice.

Local women and feminist leaders on all levels from NH, MA and ME will join with community members, faculty, staff and students of UNH to discuss the future of feminist leadership over dinner and workshops.

The 2018 UNH Elect Her committee is excited to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 2018 Elect Her – UNH Training. Research shows that engaging women in politics in college is key to increasing the number of women in public office. More than 56% of Congresswomen got their start in student government. Elect Her addresses the need to expand the pipeline to women running for office.
