The Johnson Theater
All Celebrity Series performances are held in the Johnson Theatre at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. The Johnson Theater is a fully equipped, 667 seat, proscenium theater. Please see our Directions page for more information on its location.
Because of fire codes and for the safety of patrons in the theatre, anyone entering must have a ticket, including children of any age.
As a courtesy to those who arrive on time, latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the management. In some cases this may be at intermission only. Please note the curtain time for all performances is 7:00 p.m.
Cameras and Recording Devices
Cameras, tape recorders, food, and beverages are not permitted in the theatre during a performance. Please turn off all cell phones and electronic devices as it is disturbing to both artist(s) and audience alike.
Children and Infants
Please consider interest, attention span, and potential for disturbing other patrons before bringing along an infant or small child. Every patron, regardless of age, must have a ticket and an assigned seat (including babes in arms).
All performances in the Johnson Theatre are wheelchair accessible. Please notify the Box Office when purchasing tickets if you need this service.
