2016 NH Educators Summer Summit

Over 600 teachers and school administrators attended the 2016 Educators’ Summer Summit from August 3-5 at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. For three days, keynote speakers from eight strands offered insight into education in the areas of early childhood, diversity, STEM, family and community engagement, inclusive education, data literacy, competency

Now in its fifth year, the Summit seeks to transform education through community involvement and evidence-based reform. The Summit gives local practitioners power to transform education and provides technical assistance for sustainability. School-based teams develop and submit an innovation plan based on gaps in performance data as a prerequisite to attendance. UNH PD&T was proud to collaborate with the University of New Hampshire’s Education Department and the New Hampshire Department of Education to host this impactful event.
