Students who already possess a Master's degree in Education or a related field may choose to complete the New Hampshire Department of Education approved Alternative One Certification-Only option. Applicants who do not possess a Master's degree or who are not concurrently enrolled in a Master's degree program will not be considered for the certification-only options.
On receipt of a complete application, faculty will call to arrange for an interview. Applications for the Master's degree and certification-only are accepted in the fall (November 1) and spring (February 1).
The following certification-only options are offered:
General Special Education
You must have a master’s degree or be concurrently enrolled in a master’s degree program to be considered for certification only in general special education.
