The Writers Academy

  • Click on www.unh.edu/youthprograms to review important Registration Instructions before beginning the enrollment process. 
  • Please review the UNH Summer Youth Program Payment and Refund Procedures before enrolling. It is the family responsibility to understand these procedures.
  • We also encourage families to be familiar with all other information on the Youth Programs website. A Family Guide is available to answer many general questions.
  • Students in the Writers Academy are grouped by the grade they will enter: 5-6, 7-8, 9-12, and Cartooning Gr. 6-8. Three similar high school groups are offered each week. If you have a preference, note the instructor.
  • All sections of the Writers Academ are scheduled Monday-Friday, 8:30-2:30, in Hamilton Smith Hall, Durham. NO additional supervision is provided before and after the program. Please plan accordingly. Carpooling is strongly encouraged.
