Massachusetts Center for the Book recently announced the Awards, Honors, and Must-Read recognitions in the 17th annual Massachusetts Book Awards. One of two poetry collections receiving an Honors award was "Standoff: Poems" by David Rivard, UNH professor of English.

MFA Success Story: Kaely Horton's (MFA '18) short story "Canvassing" will be published in May's edition of RipRap.
Kaely also wrote an article on teaching which is the first runner-up for the Donald Murray Prize and is getting published in the spring issue of Writing on the Edge with commentary from Peter Elbow.

In this Fosters.com article, UNH alumnus Mike Michaud '92 '07G, an associate professor of English at Rhode Island College, tells of his visit to UNH to use the new Donald Murray collection at the Dimond Library. He is conducting research for a book about the history of writing programs at UNH.
