Teachers' Freedom to Teach Critical Race Theory
Overview
Kevin's research involves the crackdown on teachers' freedom to instruct on topics such as institutional racism. Particularly, the nationwide discussion around "CRT" and how the theory has been so misconstrued by misinformation meant to target teachers. Research and outreach will be conducted in order to decide how to best spend a grant awarded to the Women's and Gender Studies department.
