Philip M. Marston Scholarship
The Philip M. Marston Scholarship, an award of $500, is awarded in alternate years and is available to undergraduate students who are interested in Colonial or New England history and who have demonstrated financial need. You may apply for this scholarship if, by the end of this academic year, you have taken any two of the following courses: History 405, History 410, History 511, History 603, History 605, History 610, History 623, History 695A, INCO 404H, History 497 or 797 if the major topic of the particular semester's offering is in early American history. If you intend to apply for the scholarship, you should obtain from the Financial Aid Office the necessary forms to establish financial need and see the Department of History chair in Horton 404.
