Political Science at UNH
The Department of Political Science is dedicated to understanding and explaining politics. We offer courses on both domestic and international politics. You will study political systems, the challenges of governance, public policy and political behavior with courses ranging from U.S. elections and national security, to global poverty and terrorism.
Whether you are interested in American politics, comparative politics, international relations or political thought, you'll find active and engaged faculty who are widely respected and devoted to teaching. You’ll gain the knowledge base, and communication and analytic skills to pursue careers in public service, law, business, nonprofits, education and a large number of contemporary careers which require analytic thinking.
