"I'm relating certain foundational beliefs in the philosophy of Ancient Stoicism to the Deep Ecology movement of the 1970s, as well as looking at other scholars who've done the same to critique their methods and approaches. Specifically, I'll be looking at two Greek concepts - "otherness" and the "familiar" - and redefining their Greek terms in both an ancient view and a modern view. I hope to have a solid research foundation which can be turned into a paper in time for the Society of Biblical Literature's March publication with Professor Robertson."
