The Museum of Art was awarded gold from the UNH Sustainability Institute. This award recognizes the work of the Museum, emboldening students to advance their critical-thinking and visual literacy skills through personal interactions with the power of visual art with an emphasis on cultural sustainability. The Museum’s collaborations with on-campus and off-campus constituents utilize inquiry-based learning to explore thematic issues that are closely aligned with the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
