About the Visual Resource Center

The Visual Resource Center provides images and other visual resource material for teaching and learning in the Department of Art and Art History. The center is open to all UNH students, faculty and staff for research and study. he VRC manages an image collection for instructional and research purposes. The collection includes art and architecture images encompassing all time periods, from prehistory to the contemporary. Thousands of images are added to the collection each year. The VRC houses scanning and photographic equipment for the digitization of slides, books and artworks. Art and Art History students are welcomed to use our Photo Room to photograph small- to medium-sized 2D and 3D works.

The Visual Resources Librarian (Otto Luna, otto.luna@unh.edu) is available to help with scanning and digitizing, presenting and presentation software, art and art history research, and copy photography. You may either visit him in the Visual Resource Center or contact him via email to schedule an appointment.
