Timothy Clark
Postdoctoral Research Associate, Responsible Governance and Sustainable Citizenship Project
Dr. Timothy Clark (PhD Chicago) is the RGSCP post-doctoral fellow, specializing in the politics and ideology of the Roman Empire. He teaches courses on the foundation of the US and the classical tradition, as well as a course on the individual and society. He has a forthcoming article on the Forum of Augustus in Rome, which served as an index of imperial power and ideology, and is working on a book on the political messaging concerning the “conquest” of ancient Armenia during the Roman imperial period. In April 2024 he organized a symposium on citizenship in the ancient and modern worlds.
