81- Alice Paul: "We Were Arrested Of Course!" -Using dramatic re-enactments and rarely seen photographs and film, this video vividly recreates the ordeals that Alice Paul and her followers in the National Woman's Party endured to force the President and the Congress of the United States to confront the issue of women's suffrage. The vote was won in 1920, but Alice Paul knew that there would be no full equality for women until they were included in the Constitution. In 1923 she drafted the Equal Rights Amendment and worked the rest of her life for its passage. 28 min
