CAMRA is an interdisciplinary collective of faculty and students committed to participatory, experimental media-making as a mode of academic research. CAMRA's goal is to support Communication faculty and students in developing and showcasing projects that use diverse media to push academic inquiry in new directions. In 2018, CAMRA introduced a new faculty-advised student group that supports media-based projects through workshopping, online publication, and the organization of an annual screening event. As a new organization, students were able to shape the group from the ground up, building it to suit their interests as artists, film-makers, audiophiles, coders and more.
