Careers

Students who have earned degrees in geography have found their education valuable in such fields as urban planning, natural resources management, foreign service, geographic information systems, recreation and tourism, locational analysis, environmental protection, market research, atmospheric sciences, demography, map making, and education.

UNH geography graduates have gone on to careers as teachers, urban, regional and transportation planning, environmental conservation, community development, natural resources management, market research, population studies, international diplomacy, and more.
