Rochelle Lieber is a theoretical linguist specializing in morphology and the mental lexicon. She has published eight books, the most recent of which are The Oxford Reference Guide to English Morphology (Oxford University Press 2013, with Laurie Bauer and Ingo Plag), Introducing Morphology (Cambridge University Press 2010), The Oxford Handbook of Compounding (OUP 2009, with Pavol Stekauer), The Handbook of Word-Formation (Springer 2005, with Pavol Stekauer), and Morphology and Lexical Semantics (Cambridge University Press 2004). A ninth volume, The Oxford Handbook of Derivational Morphology (with Pavol Stekauer) is currently in press. She has also published over 50 articles, reviews, and book chapters, and serves on the editorial boards of several journals. Professor Lieber has taught at the University of New Hampshire since 1981 and was the recipient of a Teaching Excellence Award in 1990 and the Lindberg Award from the College of Liberal Arts in 2013.
