Elizabeth Blood holds a B.M. degree from Northwestern University where she was a recipient of the Helen L. Teich scholarship, as well as two M.M. degrees from Florida State University in Accompanying/Chamber Music and Opera Coaching. Ms. Blood has served on the faculties of Shorter College (Rome, GA), Plymouth State University and Keene State College. She currently serves on the faculty of the Manchester Community Music School and St. Anselm College. Ms. Blood has also served as a collaborative pianist for the Opera in the Ozarks (AK), the Barga Institute (Italy) and the American Institute of Musical Studies (Graz, Austria). An active freelance musician, she has served as accompanist for the Granite State Opera, the National Association of Teachers of Singing and the Mobile Opera Competition. Recent performances in the Greater Boston area include collaborations with Opera Providence, Boston Midsummer Opera, New England Light Opera and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus. From 2008-2016, she served as the Music Director at Christ the King Lutheran Church (Nashua, NH), and has served as a church musician in FL, GA and IL. She serves as accompanist for the NH All-State Women's Chorus as well as other NHMEA festival ensembles. Recent NH appearances include performances at Dartmouth College, the Currier Gallery of Art and the St. Gaudens National Historic Site.  She lives in Manchester with her husband.
