
UNH Theatre & Dance Reunion


We want to extend a personal invitation to you to come celebrate 101 years of theatre and 51 years of dance at UNH. You'll see 101 performers including 40 tap dancers, 50 choral singers, a 6-piece band, 3 strippers, 2 puppets, aerial dancers and many Broadway stars from 6 decades worth of TH&D alumni and current students too. Please explore this page to see how you can attend, donate or enjoy a livestream from home. Saturday, April 26 at 7:00pm in the Johnson Theatre at PCAC. Some of the performers and songs include:
- Broadway star (Les Misérables) Gary Lynch is the host.
- Broadway star (The Scarlett Pimpernel) Lauri Landry will be singing Somewhere from West Side Story for the In Memoriam segment.
- Broadway dancer (West Side Story) Skye Mattox, currently on a world tour with Twyla Tharp, will be dancing a tribute to her grandmother, former UNH dance faculty member Jean Mattox.
- Broadway Tony Award winner (Me and My Girl) Maryann Plunkett will be performing a monologue from Thornton Wilder's Our Town.
- Broadway star (1776) Brian Sutherland will be singing Our Time from Merrily We Roll Along.
- Cabaret star Randa MacNamara will be singing I'm Still Here from Follies.
- Runner-up in Broadway World's 'Next On Stage' National College Competition and current UNH Senior Gavin Blonda will be singing as the MC in Willkommen from Cabaret with 20 current UNH TH&D students.
- NH's Artist Laureate Genevieve Aichele will be performing an original radio drama parody piece (with aliens!).
- Prescott Park's Ro Gavin will be performing You Gotta Get a Gimmick from Gypsy.

$50 Reception & Performance
Access for 1 to the reception in the PCAC Art Gallery at 5:00pm and a ticket to the performance at 7:00pm. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served and a cash bar provided.
$25 Performance Only
Access for 1 to the performance in the PCAC Johnson Theatre at 7:00pm.
$10 Live Stream Access

The primary Anniversary event will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Paul Creative Arts Center located at 30 Academic Way, Durham, NH 03824.

Performance featuring generations of THDA Alumni Johnson Theatre 7:00 PM

There are no other formal plans for events throughout the weekend. That said, we encourage alumni to connect with each other on the Facebook group and create your own plans!
The Performance Steering Committee is hard at work planning an incredible showcase of generational talent from the UNH THDA Department. The performance will include songs, dance, and text that will provide a meaningful snapshot of the history of theatre and dance at UNH. The performance will be live streamed for those who cannot attend in person.
A rehearsal will take place Saturday afternoon in the Johnson theater, prior to the Reception and Performance at 7pm.

We will be utilizing Department Archives to curate a collection of images to help us celebrate all that the Theatre and Dance Department has done over the years. There are two ways for you to help contribute to that effort!
1. The In Memoriam: Over the course of the weekend we will be finding ways to honor those who are no longer with us. If there is a member of the Theatre and Dance Community who you would like to make sure is included please fill out the following form. If you have a photo of them you could share, please upload that as well.
