Hostile Terrain 94 Exhibition

Monday, December 12, 2022 - All Day Event

Dimond Library third floor

Hostile Terrain 94 is a participatory art exhibit brought to UNH by the Anthropology Department and the Center for the Humanities. The exhibit runs through May 21, 2023. Its primary goal is to raise awareness of the ongoing humanitarian crisis, and loss of life, at our southern border. Since spring 2022, UNH students, staff and faculty have been filling out toe tags for the exhibit. They geolocated all 3,200 handwritten toe tags along a wall map of the Sonoran Desert of Arizona. You can view the finished product on the 3rd floor of Dimond Library, opposite room 352. This exhibit is available during the Dimond Library's normal operating hours.
