Join Carole Zawatsky, CEO of the Tree of Life, as she shares stories and lessons from the 2018 Pittsburgh synagogue shooting, the community’s response to the deadliest antisemitic attack in the United States, and the efforts to rebuild and move forward through remembrance and education.
Carole will discuss how remembering the whole story of what happened seven years ago – the full, rich lives of those who were killed, the long histories of the three congregations impacted and what happened in the days and weeks after the attack - can offer a road map for how all-of-society can come together to uproot antisemitism and build compassionate communities.
