Molly Petrik
Molly Petrik holds a Bachelor in Piano Performance from University of Montana and a Master of Music Degree from Western Michigan University, where she was a graduate assistant in piano class and accompanying. She has served as a freelance accompanist in many communities, in Montana, Michigan, California and now in Southern New Hampshire. As a choral accompanist, she has worked with the Davis Chorale and the Vocal Art Ensemble. Ms. Petrik has played for National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) competitions in California and New Hampshire. She has been on the accompanying staff at both University of New Hampshire and Utah State University. At USU, she served as a Collaborative Artist and worked with students of resident string quartet, the Fry Street Quartet. Ms. Petrik has taught private piano students both independently and as faculty of the Music Stream Music School in Davis, CA. She holds a Gordon Institute of Music Learning Certificate in Piano Teaching and regularly attends workshops on the Taubman Approach. She is also an active church musician and has held church positions in MT, CA, UT and ME. Ms. Petrik is currently the Music Director at First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church of Kennebunk, ME. She lives in Dover, with her husband and two sons.
