Alexis Dascoulias

Alexis Dascoulias is the Executive Director of Maui OnStage. Bringing with her a rich history in theatre and education, Alexis is proud to serve as the Past President on the Wailuku Community Association and act as the Youth Programs Chair for the Rotary Club of Kahului. Prior to moving to Maui, she served as the Executive Director for Seacoast Repertory Theatre (SRT) and was the President for the Board of Trustees for Cocheco Arts and Technology Academy: a Public Charter High School. Alexis was also the Theatre Department Head at Dover High School (in NH) and she served as the Artistic Director for Hackmatack Playhouse in Maine as well as the Executive Director for Piscataqua Youth Players in New Hampshire. Alexis has worked as a producer, teacher, director and manager for many New England theatres including: Seaglass Performing Arts, American Stage Festival, The Bell Center for the Arts, Portsmouth Academy of Performing Arts and Garrison Players. She is currently the camp director for Camp CenterStage, a two week performing arts camp in Maine. Her goal is to bring this camp program to Hawaii in 2012.  Alexis has directed The Wizard of Oz, Godspell, Chicago, The King and I, The Sound of Music and To Kill A Mockingbird for Maui OnStage. Other directing credits include; The Sound of Music, Once On This Island and Seussical (Seacoast Repertory Theater), The Nerd and Godspell (Hackmatack Playhouse) as well as productions of Oliver, The Miracle Worker, The Odd Couple (Female Version), How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Fiddler on the Roof and Quilters (all in New England).
