Public Lecture by Allison Donahue

Tuesday, April 15, 2025 - 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Murkland Hall G17

Dr. Allison Donahue is a poet, translator and professor based in Bologna, Italy. This talk will explore developments in feminism in Italy via the literature it produced. Often wild, loud, and outspoken, this literature changed Italy forever. While certainly products of their context, this literature and these movements pushed Italy forward in terms of civil rights and artistic development, with lasting influence today.
