An outdoor live production with a real live audience!
This searing drama by Euripides follows the dangerous trajectory from grief to vengeance. Hecuba, the Queen of fallen Troy, is about to be taken away as a slave to Greece. She has lost almost her entire family, but one final injustice turns her from hunted, to hunter. Against the backdrop of duplicitous politicians, a shaky democracy and greed, this production will fuse classical Greek theatre with a contemporary edge.
Presented with support from the UNH Department of Classics, Humanities and Italian.
