Feminist Leadership Summit

Sunday, April 03, 2022 - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Holloway Commons Squamscot Room

Hello WGS majors, minors, and community!

We are so excited to announce that we are hosting a Feminist Summit in person on Sunday, April 3 from 10:00-3:00. This year’s topic is "What is Feminist Leadership?" We will also explore questions like "Who is a feminist leader?" and "How can I be a feminist leader?"

We hope you’ll join us in gaining inspiration from local leaders and activists and engaging in workshops aimed at educating and empowering.
Who is a feminist leader? By the end of the day, your answer may likely be a firm “I am.”

Our all-day summit will feature a workshop hosted by disability rights advocate Jules Good, an opening speech by activist and author Crystal Paradis, and a panel discussion where students and local leaders like reproductive rights activist Josie Pinto tell their stories, take questions, and give advice.

We will have ASL interpreters at the event. RSVP required!
