Monday, April 14, 2025 - 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Murkland Hall G02
Dr. Allison Donahue is a poet, translator and professor based in Bologna, Italy. In this workshop participants will be invited to translate two very different examples of feminist literature, one prose and one poetry. The works will be discussed together and participants will be invited to try out different methods of translation and creative writing, both individually and collectively. This workshop is open to both Italian speakers and those who are Italian-curious--we can use dictionaries, online tools, etc. to make translations and play with language!
