His first non-fiction book, <em style="box-sizing: border-box;">Magic Is Dead: My Journey Into the World's Most Secretive Society of Magicians</em>, was included in Amazon's Best Books of the Month for Memoir and Best Books of the Year (So Far). His second book, <em style="box-sizing: border-box;">Inside the Cartel: How an Undercover FBI Agent Smuggled Cocaine, Laundered Cash, and Dismantled a Colombian Narco Empire</em>, will be published in May, 2025. He has written for: <em style="box-sizing: border-box;">The New Yorker,</em> The New York <em style="box-sizing: border-box;">Times</em>, <em style="box-sizing: border-box;">New York Magazine, Esquire, Bloomberg Businessweek, Wired, Playboy, Town & Country, and The Verge, </em>among many others. His work has been optioned for film and television by NBCUniversal, Broadway Video, AGBO, Midnight Radio, Black Label Media, and Lionsgate. He is also the co-creator and executive producer of truTV's <em style="box-sizing: border-box;">Big Trick Energy</em>, and was consulting producer on Netflix's investigative docu-series <em style="box-sizing: border-box;">Exhibit A</em>.
